Why Are You Still Complaining?

Welcome to the Friday night special edition of the "Sunday Night AP Real Estate Investing's Real Estate Investing Blog" (still working on shortening that). What better time to write a blog than 11:30pm on a Friday night while watching a movie by yourself and enjoying a couple whiskey and cokes? I honestly can't think of a better time...

Anyways, let's get into it. Full disclosure, this is more of a personal opinion piece than anything, but hopefully it motivates and inspires you, or even evokes a new way of thinking.

Do me a favor and reflect on your day (if you're reading this in the morning reflect on yesterday, dummies). How many times did you complain about something? Maybe you didn't verbalize it, but I guarantee you thought about how annoying someone/something is. How many times did you hear someone else complain about something? The unfortunate reality is that we live in a world where it is much easier to tell others about problems rather than search for solutions. We feel relief when verbalizing our struggles, and we seek concurrence among peers regarding our frustrations,

Well, I'm urging you to take a step back and start thinking differently. Before you complain about something, think to yourself, is this really necessary right now? How is complaining about this problem going to benefit me? A great man by the name of Jon Taffer once said, "I don't embrace excuses, I embrace solutions" (shout-out Bar Rescue). Making excuses is easy, and that's why EVERYONE does it. Finding solutions is difficult, but I promise you that it is the better choice between the two.

So maybe you don't like your job. Maybe you're discontent with your current financial state. Maybe you're unhappy in your current relationship. Whatever is causing you stress and frustration in life, take the necessary action to resolve it, rather than telling everyone why it bothers you.

That's all for this week... short and sweet (I'm also pretty tired). Hope you kids have a great weekend and start to adopt a more positive outlook on life. Talk to you next week!

As always, thanks for reading. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Check us out on our social media account accounts below and be sure to subscribe! Enjoy your week and keep grinding!
