Why Invest in Real Estate?
I'll start this post out with a video I truly believe everyone should watch.
I knew before graduating college that I didn't want to work a typical 9-5. Two years later and here I am... working 9-5. Granted, I've accomplished a lot during that time, and I really don't mind my job. Good pay, full benefits and 401k employer contributions are hard to argue. But i want more...
I want something that I get excited about every single morning. Something that's fast-paced and rapidly changing. Something that allows me to be my own boss and be responsible for my own future and financial security.
That something is real estate.
For me, it is about creating something of value for myself and for others. Real estate is tangible. It's hands on, and there is pride of ownership associated with it. People will always need a place to live, and I want to provide.
So why do you want to invest in real estate? Maybe you don't like your current job. Maybe you want to create a passive income stream. Maybe you want to save for retirement or for your children's education. Whatever it may be, I encourage you to spend some time thinking about it. Determine your why before the what and how and build off that.
Don't be like so many others that talk about doing something rather than taking action. Make the commitment to yourself and don't deviate. Start your journey today and don't look back.
